Proxigent at CES 2026: Hand Hygiene Compliance Technology in Action

Healthcare IT is not about adding more dashboards. It’s about enabling real behavioral change — in real time. Hand hygiene compliance technology designed for real clinical environments.

At CES 2026, Softgent, in collaboration with SPARK Microsystems, is presenting Proxigent — a new solution designed to tackle one of the most persistent challenges in healthcare: hand hygiene compliance.

Despite clear procedures and strong awareness, ensuring consistent hand hygiene remains difficult. Traditional monitoring systems often rely on delayed reporting, indirect signals, or data that lacks real clinical context.

Proxigent approaches the problem differently.

The solution combines ultra-precise proximity and distance detection using LE-UWB technology with intelligent system logic, real-time feedback, and meaningful reporting. This allows hospitals to support infection prevention efforts without disrupting clinical workflows or increasing staff burden.

Designed for real clinical environments

Proxigent delivers:

  • real-time, context-aware feedback that reinforces correct behavior when it matters

  • precise proximity and distance detection, reducing ambiguity and false signals

  • actionable data for compliance, quality, and patient safety teams

  • a design suitable for scalable, hospital-wide deployments

The focus is not on surveillance, but on supporting staff and enabling better outcomes through accurate, timely information.

Built for Healthcare IT leaders

Proxigent was created with Healthcare IT realities in mind — scalability, reliability, and data quality are core to the system’s design. It supports digital transformation initiatives by turning proximity data into insights that can be trusted and acted upon.

The collaboration with SPARK Microsystems ensures the communication performance required for mission-critical healthcare environments, where precision and reliability are essential.

See Proxigent at CES

Proxigent will be demonstrated live at CES in Las Vegas.

CES 2026 takes place January 6–9, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada, primarily at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), with additional official venues across the city.

During CES 2026, Proxigent will be presented in collaboration with SPARK Microsystems, as part of SPARK Microsystems’ live demo presentations at dedicated showcase suite.

Healthcare IT leaders, infection prevention teams, and digital transformation decision-makers attending CES are invited to see how Proxigent transforms ultra-precise proximity and distance detection (LE-UWB) into measurable behavioral change — without adding friction to clinical workflows.
