EMERGENT Wins 1st Place in the “Healthy Future – Inspirations 2025” Awards
Softgent’s real-time patient tracking solution EMERGENT, implemented at the University Clinical Centre in Gdańsk (UCK), has won 1st place in the category “Patient Safety and Reduction of Adverse Events” in the 8th edition of the national “Healthy Future – Inspirations” 2025 Awards (Zdrowa Przyszłość – Inspiracje).
This award recognizes the outstanding impact of EMERGENT in improving patient safety, optimizing emergency workflows, and setting a new standard for real-time visibility in hospital operations.

Transforming Emergency Care with Real-Time Visibility
Developed by Softgent in collaboration with UCK Gdańsk, EMERGENT is a real-time location system (RTLS) that uses active localization wristbands to continuously track patients in the Emergency Department (ED).

The award ceremony took place on November 7, 2025, in Warsaw, during the “Healthy Future – Inspirations” Gala, organized by Bezpieczny Szpital Przyszłości (Safe Hospital of the Future).
The project titled “Emergent – Active Localization Wristbands for Patients of the Clinical Emergency Department” was recognized by the jury as a leading example of how technology can meaningfully reduce risks and improve patient experience in complex hospital environments.
